I'll get maybe a couple resets in before I close it to idle so I can start with a reset first thing after I open it the next day. (On the other hand, I'm not spending all day doing this, just a bit in the evening / night. That's when it's pretty clearly reaching a definitive warning sign that progress is going to slow down. As in, each 25 levels is only just getting back into insta-kill range and they slow down again before I get enough for the next 25. I tend to just keep going until they can't go for too long unattended anymore. Was that the time when people would advise a reset or would they say to keep going? In other words, if I can be AFK from the game for 10 or 20 minutes and come back to find that the crusaders failed a level at some point in that time or they're just starting to have trouble killing enemies, but I can buy a couple hundred or so levels for my DPS and keep going for another length of time like that. I always wonder when people throw this comment out there (and the "until you see health bars" clarification), does this mean something more like "set it and forget it and then come back an hour or so later on after the party has failed and been pushed back, max out all levels and reset then" or "keep checking in every 10 or so minutes to buy your DPS more levels, and just keep going on and on and on like that until they get pushed back, then finally max out all levels and reset"? Organize your Crusaders by designing the perfect formation for maximum damage. Create a band of unusual heroes to battle monsters, earn gold by killing them and use it to level-up and unlock new character abilities. (The effect is probably pretty minor next to the increased output from the talents though. Crusaders of the Lost Idols is the Award Winning idle game of heroic awesomeness.
The event crusader Billy Smithsonian, from the Alien Invasion event a couple months ago, can also help since he has an ability that gives you a chance to complete areas faster. The description for it will state that it increases idols by x% (at max level this will reach 50%) for every 100 areas completed, but despite the way that sounds it's actually a partial gain of x/100 for every individual area completed. At it's max level it gets you an idol for every 250 crusader levels instead of every 500 crusader levels.ĭeep Idol Scavenger is a tier 3 talent so you must have gotten through area 600 at least once before you can start leveling it. But yeah, big difference once you throw those into the mix.Įfficient Crusading is a tier 2 talent so you must have gotten through area 300 at least once before you can start leveling it. Or at least level them as much as is possible for your current number of idols. Max the efficient crusading and deep idol scavenger talents this gives more idols per run.
